Hope Kennedy is a Louisville, KY based artist and designer originally from Cumming, GA, a smaller town just north of Atlanta. Moving to Louisville in high school opened her up to many new things, and there were many artistic people who inspired her to embrace her creative side more. After attending Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC, and taking art classes that interested her, she decided to pursue an Associate in Arts to continue doing what she loved. This inspired her to pursue a Bachelor's in Fine Arts at Indiana University Southeast. She studied many different art media and delved deeper into her personal style. During her schooling, so many of her "why" questions about her artistic preferences were answered, and from there, she was able to produce cohesive work in a style that resonated with her.

Hope's artistic style began from a younger age in middle school and early high school, where she found herself drawn to certain shapes, patterns, and colors. Pinterest was a huge platform where she was able to find so much work that she loved and wanted to create herself. She had always drawn organic, squiggly, and blobby shapes and initially didn't realize that it all had meaning, and with more practice, it can be used to represent who she is. Within her work, she heavily relies on bright, poppy colors and repetitive geometric and organic shapes. Her style is heavily influenced by the Bauhaus artistic movement as well as some work by artist Yayoi Kusama.
